ZOOP Live

Section of the ZOOP Privacy and Cookies Policy · Effective date: 26 August 2026

This section describes how ii Corporation (“ZOOP”, “we”) processes your personal data when you use the ZOOP Live app (the “App”). It supplements, and should be read together with, the rest of this Policy, which continues to apply, including the sections on your rights, international transfers, security and contact details. If you are in one of the countries covered by the Asia-Pacific Addendum to this Policy, the additional information for your country also applies.

One account, one policy

The App does not create a separate account. You sign in with your ZOOP Account, and the App displays certain information from that account on a read-only basis. Using the App does not result in a separate profile: your ZOOP Account data is the same data, viewed through a different app. You cannot edit your account information in the App — to update it, use the ZOOP app, and the changes will be reflected in the App.

The minimum age for a ZOOP Account, and therefore for the App, is set out in the main body of this Policy and in our Terms and Conditions.

Data we process in connection with the App

  • Account data (displayed). Your ZOOP Account information shown in the App, such as your name, username and profile details. This data is collected and managed through the ZOOP services as described elsewhere in this Policy.
  • Ticket data. The electronic tickets delivered to your App and related details: event, date, venue, seat or category, ticket identifier and barcode or QR code, and ticket status (valid, used, transferred, cancelled).
  • Transfer data. If you transfer a ticket, we process the transfer history and the identifier of the recipient’s ZOOP Account and, if you receive a ticket, the sender’s.
  • Technical and device data. Device type and operating system, app version, device identifiers, push notification token, language and country settings, IP address, and log and diagnostic data, including crash reports.
  • Support data. The content of your communications with us if you contact support about the App.

No sensitive data. The App does not collect or process special categories of personal data, such as data revealing health, religion, political opinions, biometric data used for identification, or similar sensitive data. Please do not include sensitive information in support communications.

What we do not collect. The App has no purchase function. Tickets are sold exclusively through the ticketing partner designated for each event, and your payment and purchase data are processed by that ticketing partner as an independent controller under its own privacy policy, as identified in the App with your Ticket. ZOOP does not receive your payment card details.

ESC Asia voting. If you vote in ESC Asia, your voting data is collected through the official ESC Asia voting service at https://eurovisionasia.com/vote/ and is controlled by Voxovation, with ZOOP acting as its service provider (processor). That processing is described in the voting privacy notice made available there, not in this section.

Who we share App data with

  • Ticketing partners and event organisers — to issue and deliver Tickets to your App, validate Tickets at the venue, manage transfers, cancellations and refunds, and prevent fraud. For your Ticket purchase itself, the ticketing partner and the relevant event organiser act as independent controllers.
  • Service providers — hosting, analytics, push notification and support providers acting as our processors under contract. Our platform infrastructure is hosted in Ireland, in the European Union.
  • Authorities — where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

Ticket and transfer data are retained for the duration of the event lifecycle and thereafter for as long as necessary for refunds, disputes, fraud prevention and legal obligations, and are then deleted or anonymised in accordance with our retention schedule — as a rule, no longer than 24 months after the event. Technical and diagnostic data are retained for up to 12 months. Account data retention is described in the main body of this Policy.

Your rights and contact

Your rights — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and complaint to a supervisory authority — the identity of our representative and data protection contact, and information about international transfers are set out in the main body of this Policy and apply equally to the App, together with any additional rights under the law of your country as set out in the Asia-Pacific Addendum to this Policy. Requests concerning your Ticket purchase or payment data should be addressed to the relevant ticketing partner.
